Derand Ltd are street lighting contractors specializing in the installation, maintenance and repair of street lighting.
We service locations throughout the UK from our central base in Liverpool. Committed to providing excellent customer service we have a user friendly approach and can provide flexible options to most services.
Our engineers, who are all directly employed by ourselves, have extensive experienced in the lighting industry in fields such as street lighting, lighting maintenance and remedial works and lighting column installation. They have all the correct certification. Crews are equipped with our own fleet of vehicles which are fully stocked to deal with most day to day lighting repairs and urgent call outs.
Our client base consists of many of the UK's Councils, Housing Developers together with Civil Engineers, Universities, Facilities Companies and Retailers.
This has given us a diverse range of operations and experience in street lighting and other commercial lighting services.

SCOPE OF WORKS
Street lighting maintenance (street Lighting repairs)
We have been carrying out the maintenance contracts since we started in 2002 and understand the importance of completion dates for each job and with our regime of completing these we never fail to stay within the parameters set out by the customer, alongside this we also cover daytime emergencies
Bollards ,Signs and Underground Faults
We have a dedicated teams which carry out these works and are very experienced in fault finding and repair to the Local authority cable network we also carries out the installation or replacement of Illuminated bollards and sign poles and have over 15 years experience within this field.
Electrical testing / Periodic testing
We have been carrying out the electrical testing for Local authorities for the many years. These works are carried out by experienced operatives and the information is then formatted on to a spread sheet and returned to the main contractor on a weekly basis
Column Installation and removal
Capital schemes / Maintenance.We have a vast experience in the installation and removal of columns. Ranging from 5-12 m columns this included the installation of lantern, cutout and electrical test.
Trenching and Cable laying
We carry out trenching and cabling alongside fault repairs and capital schemes
Highmast Lighting
We are highly experienced in high mast lighting and have installed, removed and Maintained the highmasts
Decorative Lighting ( Christmas Lighting)
Eye bolt testing, installation and renewal.
Electrical testing.
Installation of cross street features.
Installation of column mounted features.
